L'Alabox è la struttura da incasso (la nicchia vera e propria) che fa parte dell'esclusivo sistema a scomparsa Alasplit di Mitsubishi Electric. Serve per nascondere completamente il climatizzatore all'interno del muro o del controsoffitto, evitando di avere lo split a vista nella stanza.
Funzioni:
Per funzionare e avere un senso estetico, il sistema Alasplit richiede due componenti separati (venduti singolarmente):

L'Alabox: La scatola di contenimento in lamiera da murare o incassare nel cartongesso, all'interno della quale viene alloggiato lo split.

L'Alapanel: Il pannello frontale estetico e motorizzato. Quando accendi il clima, le alette in alluminio dell'Alapanel si aprono in automatico per far uscire l'aria; quando lo spegni, si chiudono a filo muro, nascondendo del tutto la macchina.
